I dont trust anyone who uses a US spelling in a .co.uk domain name :) )

There is actually more than one seo company doing that – searchengineoptimization.co.uk/ springs to mind too. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would base their business around a spelling mistake – talk about creating the wrong first impression…

  3. Martypants says:

Yeah, but it is only a spelling mistake to you guys, because you keep spelling it wrong.

Marty – Hehe just going through your content pages now and doing find/replace on optimiz/optimis ;)

(For anyone who is interested, Marty wrote the 8 informational sections on this site. You can check his copywriting services out at http://articulayers.com).

Bob – The different spelling is brilliant for anyone in this industry. It makes it far easier to rank your own site for that phrase since USA companies are all chasing rankings for the Z version. It also made any domains with “optimisation” in them significantly cheaper than their Z counterparts, which is nice.
