Frank Kern’s Empire is Built on Bullshit
No one should be forced to endure the complete bullshit coming out of Frank Kern. Actually, he is just one of many shit-spewing “syndicate” members that deserve to be force fed dead kittens, but he’s today’s target anyway.
Let’s go back to the basics – why does anyone trust this guy and where did he come from anyway?
Frank Kern got his start selling an informational product he stole from others, claiming it was somehow his own to do with as he pleased. In 2001, as like now, he had no original ideas. Instead, this failed real estate agent needed to use someone else’s work as a way to slither his way to the top.
Frank gathered up information and eBooks other people had been selling, and bundled a few together. He said that this action made it new, and this made it his. He sold it as such.
He went on to get into trouble with the FTC, who didn’t think Frank was quite so brilliant. In fact, they seemed to think he was a bit of a parasite. But Frank Kern was not deterred – and he mentions it on his own blog:
“their argument was that the product didn’t have any value other than the fact that it could be re-sold. And that due to the way I had worded my sales letter, it would be physically impossible for anyone to achieve the results I’d experienced by simply re-selling the product.”
Now let’s look at that accusation again. Kern knows his crap was useless, and that he was only re-skinning something that wasn’t his. He was seeking gullible suckers to buy his “product” which was never more than a compilation of other people’s work.
Kern also knew what he was doing was slimy and shitty – he admits it on the same blog.
“Long before I got sued by the FTC, I had an attorney review my website to make sure everything was cool. For some reason, I was worried about getting into trouble”
Now, he could have stated this a million different ways to say the same basic thing – but he said “I was worried about getting into trouble.” He couches it with his mushy “for some reason” as if he can’t quite put his finger on why he was worried. I’ll help: you were stealing Frank, and even criminals often know they are doing something wrong.
But getting into trouble is what Frank Kern did. For some reason, reselling people nothing and claiming it is meaningful is frowned upon by the FTC. They sued his ass off, and won.
But this was only a mere setback for Frank Kern – he paid his extensive fines, apologized to over 18,000 people he shafted (according to him), buddied up to other known shysters for support and protection, grew his hair longer, copped a more physical stance for his “Hey, I am just a slacker, and look at what I did” spiel and continued to push out into the informational marketplace, selling drivel and hollow rhetoric to people starving for a bit of success.
Worst of all, he uses being sued by the FTC as a badge of honor.
Before you buy one thing from Frank Kern (or even listen to anything he tries to sell you), remember where this guy got his start.
Frank Kern stole things. He lied. He was accused of being a sham, and lost.
Some things will never change.

So ? . . . .
What ‘s your point Marty? . . . that Kern is a bad person because of the FTC thingy ?
Does this mean that Kern does not hold the high moral ground that you or others pitch ? Are you assuming that your shocking revelation should be right up their with WikiLeaks?
Methinks the dust created by this rather light-horse attack clouds your green-eyes.
Settle down; maybe get a job; stare into the mirror more frequently; try to figure out who that really is. There is far too much shit going on in the world for you to reach that low into the barrel.
Shove thy neighbor ?
Jake, what a stupid comment. This article is relevant to the website. Just as an Entertainment news website would report on X actor/actress caught at McDonalds (who cares, scraping the barrel), this is relevant and interesting.
You’re an idiot, Jake. I wasn’t aware of this scum bag’s actions and now I am.
Jake, your post just reeks of idiocy.. “post it to WikiLeaks”. Come on. Really? Maybe you should visit an Entertainment news website or something similar and dribble all your crap there.
